 When transactions are the transactions done by users of the websites etc. The transactions include updation of any fields in the web, or configurations, fill or submit a web form, or any other interactions with the web.These transactions are logged in system log and are called web transaction logs. Web transaction logs records all such action and keep it handy for any diagnostic or auditing purpose.

It is very beneficial to record web transaction logs as, they record the movement of all the actions and these actions can very efficienctly helps in analytics and diagnosis.

eg. shopping websites have transaction logs from when the user logs in to the website to the action of selecting products in shopping card and placing the order. If any issue comes in between, web transaction logs can be referenced and the issue can be analyzed using that data and hence solved.
