Expert Answer
1. These are the networking methods for transfer the between the nodes or hosts. In packet switching the data is transferred between the nodes by dividing the data in to some individula packets and then pass it throeugh the circuits to the other present host.In this type when the packets hit the wire the route is not determined. To arrive at the destination each packet may take a diffrent route through the network using some routing algorithms.
2.But in circuit switching the static route is setup and pre-estbalished intailly.Becauase it establishes physical path between the nodes i.e (sender and receiver) of the message befor a message is delivered. So entire message is travelled through the established path and once it is recieved to the other node the source informs for completion.
2.
LAN: within the same building the group of computers and networks were connected. But the connections are must be high in speed and relatively inexpensive. you can find that most of the universityes are wired LAN cooncetion only.
2.MAN: it is nothing but metropolitan area network. Generally In the city or town larger network that usually spans several buildings or aprtments.
3.WAN: It is not restricted to geographical location when comapared with MAN although it might be expand to the boundries of state or country.Several LANS are connected to this WAN and accessible to the public. The technology is inexpensive and it is high in speed.Best example is Internet.
