Using the ORF finder available at http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/gorf/ the longest complete reading frame was found to be in the +2 frame running from nucleotide 2 to 1018 of length 1017 bases. However, the match to the database entry for this ORF was not close (75%), therefore the second longest ORF was used.
