Fiction Character with Mental Illness

For this assignment, you are required to respond to the below case study essay.  The word count is 2000 words. 

1) Of the different mental health difficulties discussed, choose one that you are interested in studying in more detail (e.g. depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, addiction, OCD, schizophrenia).

2) Select a fictional character such as from a film or TV show or a made-up character as a case study. Next, consider the factors that make this character vulnerable to the mental health difficulty you have chosen and why. Briefly describe in a couple of sentences, any personal or demographic characteristics that may be adding to this vulnerability.

3) You should refer to psychological theory and the models of experiencing well-being (e.g. the diathesis-stress model, the biopsychosocial model) to support your discussion about what type of therapy would you employ to help him/her and why? Ensure that you take into account professional and ethical considerations in answering this part of the question.
