Antebellum Runaway Slave Advertisements.
Examine at least four Antebellum runaway slave advertisements from 1830-1860 on the North Carolina Runaway Slave Advertisements website. Afterwards, in your first post, write a 5-6 sentence paragraph describing what historians can learn about slave life by examining such documents. In a second post, find another advertisement that either supports or refutes the statements of one of your fellow classmates. Make sure you narrow your searches to the proper time period by using the link on the left-hand side of the page.
